While shopping at a Plato’s Closet, a store that deals in brand name gently used clothes, located on SW College Road in Ocala, a woman finds her shoes that were stolen, and on sale. She even found some of her fiancé’s shoes while shopping. When the woman realized what she was looking at, she immediately went outside and called the police.
When the police arrived, they questioned Aric Shiawn McCray, age 23, about the merchandise that was being sold. McCray claims that the couple gave him permission to take the shoes.
What helped the couple was they filed a police report of a robbery where their shoes were stolen.
The investigators went through all transactions made for 2 months and found that he made $302.65 dollars off their shoes.
Aric Shiawn McCray was arrested and charged with 11 counts of dealing in stolen property. He is currently released on bond until hearing.
